STMA JO season...highlights for the girls from our program...

The number of girls playing youth and J.O. volleyball this year might be a record.

  • We have quite a few girls playing at Minnesota Select this year, including 3 girls who made the "1's" team for their age level.
  • We have a couple girls at M1 this year, including players on the 1's and 2's teams for their age levels.
  • We have over 80 participants in the youth development program.
  • AND, we have a record NINE teams in the STMA JO program.
It will be an exciting winter and I'm looking forward to seeing all the improvement and growth in our program this year!

2012 Midwest Fall Classic - WE'RE GOING INTERNATIONAL!

The 2012 tournament field has changed slightly, reflecting the loss of a couple teams, but the addition of some great teams to fill out the event.  For 2012, we will be welcoming the Souris School team from Manitoba, Canada, as well as state tournament teams Hutchinson and Wayzata.  It appears that the 2012 STMA Midwest Fall Classic will be another fantastic clash of many high caliber teams!!

New STMA Volleyball Blog

This will be a new blog posting news and other things about STMA volleyball...

Right now, Dehnel and the other coaches are working on the start of the JO season with a record 9 teams!  We're really pumped that we have so many teams, especially in the younger age levels.  Youth Development teams are also up this year...we just need to build some more gyms!!!

Also on the horizon, we're setting the final competitive schedule for next fall and looking at getting the summer volleyball program finalized.

We've got a bunch of girls who are busy in the weight room again, getting the most out of their athletic ability!  Way to represent girls!

Next fall we're going to be adding a new set of varsity jerseys...STMA GOLD!  We're going to be throwing some ideas around, but I'm excited about some of the possibilities...more on the uniform front later.
