Second STMA group does well against varsity competition at Augsburg Tam camp

The second STMA group did well on Saturday against a variety of varsity level opponents at the Augsburg team camp. They made great progress as the day went on, and went 4-6 in games against 4 varsity squads and a v/jv mixed squad from Andover. Both Anderson and I were there and are excited to see the level of play on the JV team this fall.

STMA does well at SMSU team camp

The crew who attended the SMSU team camp had a good time (despite the crazy heat) and made some good improvements toward the 2012 season. The team had a lot of fun playing against high level competition including 2 teams of college recruits, Marshall, Owatonna, and some others. In the final day tournament, the team finished 6th out of the 33 teams in attendance. With that camp done, we're down to only 4 weeks to go until tryouts! Enjoy the rest of your summer!

H.S. eligibility meeting July 31

Reminder that we will be having the annual eligibility meeting on July 31 at the high school PAC. All athletes who are able to attend should attend this meeting. There will be a second meeting only for those who cannot make the July 31 meeting. The second meeting will be on August 6. If you plan to play volleyball and will not be at the July 31 meeting, contact Coach Dehnel by the July 31 meeting date.

Whoa...long time without a post

It has been a while since I posted here. The late confusion on the Iowa state camp has been a little bit of an issue. The camp is on Monday and Tuesday, but the times on the flyer are accurate. Next week will be a busy week for volleyball. Check the new HS volleyball website for accurate information about the camp, coaches clinic, and Augsburg team camp, as well as reminders about the fall.
